"Today's show is all about family and in particular, early childhood development. First up we're sitting down with writer and illustrator, Themba Mabaso, who started a self-publishing company called Njabulo Publishers, that makes a range of children's books. Then we chat to an associate professor from the centre for early childhood development to get a better understanding of what challenges they face in South Africa. And we check out the opening of a new pre-school in the disadvantaged community of Hangberg which cost 5 million rand and took 5 years to raise the funds to create this beautiful learning space."
